Hello Parents,

We are covering Satchel Paige now. Because the students have a workbook check on Tuesday, I had to collect their workbooks. They can finish the homework on Tuesday or in class tomorrow.

Below is the schedule.

Monday

  • Vocabulary Test.
  • Readers & Writers Notebook p.77
  • Homework: Readers & Writers Notebook p.77 .

Tuesday

  • Read and review the story: Questions and Answers, and Vocabulary.
  • Homework: Vocabulary Words 1-15 written 3x's each with a definition or sentence for each one.

 Wednesday

  • Read and review the story: Questions and Answers, and Vocabulary.
  • Readers & Writers Notebook: Homework check. Fact vs Opinion p.73, Vocabulary p.75
  • Vocabulary review.
  • Homework: Vocabulary Words 16-30 written 3x's each with a definition or sentence for each one.

Thursday

  • Readers & Writers Notebook: Newspaper p.80-81.
  • Read, ask, and answer questions about the story.
  • Homework: Study for the test tomorrow.

Friday

  • Readers & Writers Notebook p.82
  • Test/Quiz.
  • Homework: Vocabulary Words, week 11, 1-15 written 3x's each with a definition or sentence for each one.
