 Hello Parents, Here's the plan for material to cover this week for our new text, Island of the Blue Dolphins. Today: All three exams were passed out to students today.  We discussed theme and setting of the text.   Homework: Read the text. Correct exams with a blue pen, have parents sign them, and return them to the teacher. Tomorrow:  Readers & Writers Notebook p.62-64.  Read and review the story. Homework: Vocabulary Words 1-15 written 3x's each with a definition or sentence for each one.  Wednesday Readers & Writers Notebook p.65, 72, and 68(time permitting).  Read and review the story.   Hello Parents,    Today we nearly finished the Oral Exams. I have a few more, which I'll finish on Monday while students take a quiz on content from the past two texts. I'll make it an open book quiz, to help them learn it better. Overall, students should be proud of their efforts with their speeches.   Homework is to review the written exam review worksheet.
