  • Vocabulary Review
  • Homework:  Vocabulary Words 1-15 written 3x's each with a definition or sentence for each one.

Tuesday

  • Readers & Writers Notebook: corrections.
  • Story Reading and 10 Questions. 
  • Read and review the story: Questions and Answers, and Vocabulary.
  • Homework: Vocabulary Words 16-30 written 3x's each with a definition or sentence for each one.

 Wednesday

  • Readers & Writers Notebook: corrections.
  • Readers & Writers Notebook: p.84 Cause and Effect, p.88 Contractions
  • Homework: Readers & Writers Notebook: p.86 & 87. Make all corrections on folded pages of RWN. Keep pages folded.

Thursday

  • Readers & Writers Notebook: p.94, Common, Proper, and Collective Nouns
  • Read and review the story: 10 Questions and Answers review, and Vocabulary. 
  • Homework: Study for the test tomorrow. RWN p.88 & 93.

Friday

  • Readers & Writers Notebook p.82
  • Test/Quiz.
  • Story Reading and 10 Questions. 
  • Homework: Vocabulary Words, week 12, 1-15 written 3x's each with a definition or sentence for each one.

 Hello Parents, Here's the plan for material to cover this week for our new text, Island of the Blue Dolphins. Today: All three exams were passed out to students today.  We discussed theme and setting of the text.   Homework: Read the text.
